We have teamed up with carbon management company co2balance to calculate the amount of carbon dioxide that we produce every year, and have offset this figure to become a "CarbonZero" company.
We have invested in their energy efficiency project in Africa in which local communities receive solar ovens and energy efficient stoves. These ovens either replace the firewood for the open fires that they traditionally use, or significantly reduce the amount that is needed, producing far less carbon emissions that would have otherwise been created.
In addition to the saving in greenhouse gas emissions, the reduced need for firewood and the burning of rubbish leads to a corresponding reduction in the amount of time spent collecting the material and a reduction in deforestation.To find out more on climate change and ethical carbon offsetting, log on to www.co2balance.com
In addition, because we are specialists in mains fed water coolers, we are able to reduce our carbon footprint as we have no need for regular deliveries of water and we do not use plastic bottles.

We also offer our customers the unique service of collecting and recycling all used plastic cups. We collect the used cups when we next visit your premises and NEVER make additional trips solely for this purpose.
And Finally, we operate a car sharing pool with our colleagues which greatly reduces our carbon emissions. Commuting to work is one of the biggest energy guzzling activities in the working day. We also encourage our staff to cycle and run to work whenever possible.
Our offices are fitted with motion sensors so that all lights are switched off when sections of the office are not being used.
Currently we recycle all of our paper, drinks cans, plastics and printer cartridges. Old mobile phones are sent directly to the Anthony Nolan Trust for recycling, which in turn raises money for their charity.
We operate a policy whereby all computers and machines are switched off at night. Nothing is left on standby,
and we have installed heat regulating systems to our office windows to cut down on our heating and air conditioning needs.
